Laboratory Committee

The Laboratory Committee meets quarterly to discuss issues and contracts pertinent to their field of expertise. This Committee offers an excellent example of how working together can improve the quality of service provided, and maintain extremely competitive pricing required by our member laboratories. The Committee also reviews and looks for contract aggregation opportunities as national agreements are released. For example, the Fisher and Cardinal distribution agreements.

Networking among our lab members is another key benefit provided through these quarterly meetings. A great deal of time is set aside for members to participate in informal discussions, provide feedback to Seagate on any issues they may have, and confer on various issues of interest such as testing and compliance.

Laboratory Committee participants can also take advantage of Premier's monthly Labinar series. The Labinars are educational webinars for laboratory directors, materials directors and other areas as appropriate per topic. Educational offerings have included clinical, operational, performance and member best practices. These free sessions are recorded and often offer contact hours.
